Subject: RE: City Debt

The City of Centerville has $8,055,896 in long term debt. Call with any questions.

I repeat... We have over 8 million dollars in long term debt. That is up from 4 million that Mr. Dallas Larson states we have in 7-17-07 as quoted in the "Quad Press."

Yes there is money in the bank for normal operating expenses and most is ear marked for specific items or projects. It is reckless for a city of 3800 to have a debt so large. And with more unnecessary spending on the way.

How will the city pay this back before going bankrupt? (yes, it can happen) Is there a strategic plan in place? I've asked several times to see these plans but the transparent city hall will not show me.
